Candie, Christie & Alice,

I need to call in a favor of you please (Candie & Christie, remember when I helped you move out of your last apartment?…well payback’s a bitch sometimes…though this one should be a lot easier and cheaper – I’ll pay for gas too); in my basement storage unit I’ve been storing the documents of an organization from which I resigned (though they keep sending me emails asking me to come back, to work with them on this, etc…and I don’t want to; I’m done, I made my decision and I’m happy I’ve made it) and in all honesty I don’t want to store them anymore, they’re the only connection I have left and I want them out so they know I’m serious and I don’t need to deal with them any longer. Once they’re gone, I can block their addresses from my servers and their IP addresses from my website and just be done with it, and if necessary, it’s free for me to change my cell phone number which I may do anyway so I’m totally unreachable by them.

I still have my office keys (since they’re hoping I’m going to come back) so first, I need to move all their documents into sturdier storage boxes so they’re easier to carry (I have staples shipping me a good amount of them and they’ll be here earlier this week) and then, at an hour when no one’s at the office (1-2am-ish) I need to bring them up to the second floor and drop them off, while one person watches the car (they aren’t allowed to change the front door lock, and even if they changed the office locks, I can just leave the boxes in the hallway and let them deal with it, though I’m trying to take the high road…I just want to let you three know that I’ve covered all contingencies).

I understand this is inconvenient, but I can’t explain just how much this would help me (and how much I need to do this): logistically, and emotionally to just finish cutting this tie and be done with it (and their bullshit). If I can please get your help in transferring the folders to the new boxes, and then loading up your car(s) and driving the boxes downtown, I’ll be most grateful. I would like to just get this done – in one night (it may take two trips – though I doubt it – and I’ll see if I can get someone else to bring a third car and follow us so it only takes one) – that way we can just move all of these boxes out of my storage unit into the office, leave my keys on top of the box with a note saying “done” so they have the keys, and be done with it.

P.S. Alice, this would mean that you could get my boxes out of your garage as well.
